Coldest Night of the Year Walk for Homelessness on Feb 25th

Are you interested in participating locally in a cross-Canada walk to support charities helping the homeless?  Comox Valley is holding a walk (2, 5, or 10 km) to support two local non-profits – Comox Valley Transition Society and Dawn to Dawn. Last year our St. George's team raised over $2000.

We're running a team again for the walk this year, which will take place on February 25th starting at the Native Sons Hall. St George’s hosted the walk as the starting point last year, but it was so successful that the church ended up being too small! Registration opens at 4pm;  the walk starts at 5:15 and is followed by a light warm meal.  You’ll be done by 8pm at the latest.

Sign up your sponsors, get your exercise, have fun, and support local charities. We hope to match our amount for last year, so see the website coldestnightoftheyear.org to join our team and walk or sponsor a walker. You can contact Joyce Wilson who is coordinating the team using the form below for details.
