Congratulations to Pat Brandon

This past Sunday we celebrated the great festival of All Saints Day with inducting Pat Brandon as our Honorary Lay Minister Emeritus. Pat came to St. George's with her husband Rev. Ray Brandon, who was called as St. George's Minister from 1970-1992. Pat was given the special gift of a red stole (the colour of the Holy Spirit) made by one of our community members, Ellen Wise.

Pat has been both staff and volunteer at St. George's, giving countless hours of devoted humble service to the congregation and the Comox Valley community and beyond. This was a way for us to honour her service to the church. It was truly an honor, and we look forward to Pat's continuing ministry among us.
