Now Hiring: Worship Accompanist

We are: An open-minded, community-oriented Christian faith community with a broad range of ages and backgrounds that is in search of a pianist to accompany our weekly Sunday worship and seasonal special services (Easter, Christmas, Lent), and occasional funerals/weddings.

You are: A skilled pianist who can sight-read and easily learn and perform half a dozen different musical pieces per week. Ideally, you are a person of faith with choral and/or church experience and knowledge of Christian hymnody, but we would also be willing to consider anyone with the right talent and temperament. Essential, too, is your skill to work in diverse musical genres, and your ability to work as part of a team and take direction.

Hours and Compensation: 8 hours per week. Weekly practices take place from 7-9pm on Thursday evenings (2 hours), and Sunday worship from 9am-12pm (3 hours). Additional time is allowed for preparation, practice and administration (3 hours). The pay range is $24-$30 per hour, depending on skill and experience. The Accompanist is under the supervision of the Music Director.

The start date is flexible, but available beginning November 7.
