Advent and Christmas Services

Advent and Christmas are both some of the most special and unique times for Christians throughout the world. At this time we slow down, prepare, and focus on what truly matters in life as we prepare for the coming of Christ. All people are welcome to join us, meaning that you are invited to join us in this holy time no matter where you are at in the life of faith (or have none).

Advent: Sundays, November 27, Dec. 4, 11, 18

These festive days are accompanied by special music and candle lighting.

Christmas Eve: Saturday, December 24, 6:30pm

Join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus while making a difference in our community. This family-friendly service includes your favourite Christmas carols, children’s story, relevant message, and candlelight singing. Our Christmas offering will be donated to our charitable partner, Habitat for Humanity North Island’s 1375 Piercy Project. Celebrate Christmas and make a difference!

Christmas Day: Sunday, December 25, 10:30am

Join us for a quieter, more meditative service where we sing lesser-known carols and celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion.

New Years Day: Sunday, January 1, 10:30am

There will be no service at St. George’s this day. Join us at Comox Valley Presbyterian Church (725 Aspen Road, Comox) for a joint service with CV Presbyterian and Comox United Church. Christmas continues.
