Campers: going into Kindergarten to Grade 5
Leaders in Training: Grade 6-8
Youth Crew: Grade 9-12
Cost: $125 bursaries are available and easy to access
St. George’s Summer Day Camp is offered in partnership with Camp Spirit,. The program provides equipped leaders to nurture the spirit of each child, in order to support children and families to live lives of faith, hope, and compassion in the world. The camp provides a safe, welcoming, high quality, faith-based and affordable summer day camp experience (consistent with United Church Theology). Children have the opportunity to share in the ancient stories of our Christian faith in creative and exciting ways, encouraging them to deepen their own relationships with God and the community.
This Camp also provides opportunities for younger youth helpers aged 12-14 (Leaders in Training or LIT) to be mentored in leadership skills, and older youth (grades 9-12, Youth Crew) to build on their leadership skills and earn some money for their time.
